Terms of Service

1. The service

ShopSection is software for running a retail business: billing, inventory, purchasing, customers, branches, an online store, marketing and staff. It is a tool. You run your business, set your prices and serve your customers; we do not.

2. Your account and your staff

• Give true details when you sign up or pay, and keep them current.
• You decide who on your staff gets an account and what they may do. You are responsible for everything done under your account and your staff's accounts.
• Keep passwords and one-time codes private. Tell us at once if you think an account has been misused.
• ShopSection is for businesses and for people aged 18 or over.

3. Plans and payment

• Plans, and what each includes, are as shown on our pricing page on the day you pay. Prices are in Indian rupees.
• GST at 18% is added to the plan price and shown before you pay. A tax invoice is issued by Roftr Clouds LLP for every payment.
• Online payments are taken through our payment gateway partner by UPI, card or net banking. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or banking password.
• A plan period counts from the day your service is switched on. Nothing renews or charges you by itself: each period is paid by you.
• Prices may change. A change applies from your next payment, and we tell you in advance.
• Work outside a plan, such as custom development, data migration or hardware, is quoted and invoiced separately.
• Refunds are covered by our Refunds & Cancellation policy.

4. Your duties towards your own customers

• The products, prices, offers, taxes and invoices in your store are yours, and so is the responsibility for them being lawful and correct.
• Orders, deliveries, returns and refunds for what you sell are between you and your customers.
• Send marketing messages only to people who agreed to receive them, and honour every opt-out.
• Payment gateways, courier companies and messaging providers you connect work under your own agreements with them.

5. Fair use

Do not use ShopSection to break the law, to sell prohibited goods, to send messages people did not ask for, to copy or resell the software, to probe or overload our systems, or to reach another business's data.

6. Your data

The records you create belong to you. We keep and process them to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy, and we do not sell them. You may ask for an export of your data while your account is active.

7. Availability

We work to keep ShopSection running at all times but do not promise it will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance or a fault at a hosting, payment, courier or messaging provider.

8. Liability

ShopSection is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost revenue, profit or stock. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for ShopSection in the three months before it arose.

9. Ending the agreement

You may stop using ShopSection at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or is not paid for, and will tell you first unless the law or the safety of others requires otherwise.

10. Changes

We may change these terms. We post the new version here with its date and tell you by email before a change that affects you takes effect.

11. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction.
